It was a day filled with all things pink and girly as Etude House held its Etude Playhouse Pink Fair 2012 at SM North - The Block last April 21-22.  Fortunately, my sister and I were able to attend on its first day. There were quite a lot of activities: talks on fashion/beauty/poise, makeovers, photo booth sessions, games, and even a band performance by Someday Dream. There was free food, too! Cornetto ice cream, pink popcorn, cotton candy, Tous les Jours macarons... Oh hello, sweet diabetes! ♥ lol

While we were not able to avail of the free makeovers, we had fun playing the games (and losing;; lol), taking pictures, and eating the sweets! I also saw some bloggers that I follow~ lol but I was too shy to say hi or anything. (.__.);;lol Anyway, thank you, Etude House! I'm looking forward to your future events!

people were mostly busy lining up for the booths~lol

Here's a quick review of the stuff I got from Etude House yesterday~

1. 'Put Your Hands Up' Deo Perfume Mist

What it is: It's a deo/ body spray with a delicate pearl and floral scent. I love the name. lol. It always brings to mind 2PM's song "Put Your Hands Up" XD

Pros: It does its job. It kept me from being sweaty and/or smelly XD

Cons: Not too much a fan of the scent. But it's okay.

Would I repurchase? Nah. I might try another brand next time.

2.  Shini Star Lip Balm in Peach (SHINEE Special Edition - Onew's Pick)

What it is: It's a lip balm that comes in a small tin container. Need I say more? lol

Pros: I absolutely love the peachy smell on this one!  I also like the fact that it's not too sticky, unlike other lip balms/glosses out there. Perfect for moisturizing lips during light to no-makeup days Oh, and let's not forget... When you finish it, you'd see that at the bottom of the container is an autograph from a SHINEE member, depending on which shade you selected. I get Onew dubu's :)

Cons:  This is a tinted lip balm, but it's not very pigmented. Consider getting Minho's pick (Cherry) for a slightly brighter hue. Lasting power is not too long. You may need to re-apply every now and then.

Would I repurchase? Maybe? Maybe not? Idk. lol

3. Milk Talk Body Wash - Apple Milk

What it is: It's a moisturizing body wash with the fresh scent of apples! Yum~

Pros: Moisturizes the skin. More importantly, I love the smell! I had a hard time choosing between the five different scents: Milk, Chocolate, Strawberry, Banana, and Apple. I first ruled out banana because, well, I don't like bananas.-_-haha.  Milk smelled like baby powder. I could probably buy Johnson & Johnson's Milk bath to save money. Strawberry and Chocolate smelled temptingly delicious. I didn't get them because I might end up drinking the contents. LOL

Cons:  Scent lasts only until you wash and get dried. :(

Would I repurchase? Yup. I'll actually try Chocolate next time. :))

Rating: ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆

4. Pearl Extract Mask

What it is: It's an "essence mask which contains pearl extract that promotes natural skin glow" with "tension fit design for improved facial adhesion and comfort," according to the blurb at the back.

Pros: It's cheap- only P58. It does its job- it moisturizes and relaxes the skin. It also gives slightly brighter skin immediately after use.

Cons:  None :)

Would I repurchase? Yes.

Rating: ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆

With those four items, I was able to get a ticket to the Playhouse Pink Fair 2012! Yay! I'm excited ♥
