I recently got this phone cover called "Rabito." I'm glad they are now making covers for phones other than iPhones. lol. This one is in the form of a pink bunny with a fluffy, detachable tail that could be used as a phone stand. Cute.^^

Today, I...

  • Felt incredibly stupid for not being able to solve simple fractions at the job exam I took in Makati. grrr /facepalm
  • Went to the Ayala Triangle Park and ate lunch at Bon Chon. I looooooooooove their Korean BBQ Chicken!
  • Heard this cute French song while I was inside Forever 21. Thanks to Google and Youtube, I found it! It's "J'ai bu" by Yelle (link here) ♪
  • Ate the much raved-about "Magnum" Ice cream in Classic (because the Truffle flavor was sold out -__-). Erm. It was delicious, yes, but, nothing out of the ordinary. I could buy Magnolia's Pinipig Ice cream bar and safe a few more pesos.
  • Got palpitations again. T.T I don't know why this happens from time to time. I think my body is uber sensitive to caffeine, that's why whenever I eat or drink stuff that has even the tiniest bit of caffeine in it, I get that. Ugh.

Bad Day

I feel bad for the lady at the MRT station yesterday. She was about to board the train when her foot fell in the gap between the train and the platform. Her shoe fell off and was left behind. Blood trickled from the wound on her leg. Ouch. Talk about having a bad day.
Coincidentally, that same day while I was at work, my chair flipped over when I leaned on it a bit too much. I fell and hit my head. One of the staff members tried to apologize by saying that the office chairs were made in China. -_-

MV Logos Hope (Doulos) Book Fair & The Super Sale Bazaar

Since I'm feeling lazy, I'm going to combine both events into one blog entry~ haha.

I went to the MV Logos Hope (or MV Doulos) last March 3, and as it has been already 5 years since I last went there (see this blog post), I was really looking forward to attending this floating book fair. I walked in there hoping to score lots of new books, but unfortunately, I came out empty handed (save for the free book they gave). hehe ( ̄□ ̄;) If you are looking for Christian devotional/apologetics books, coffee table books, atlases, or children's story books, then this is the place for you. But if not, then, there's still the café~ I love their ice cream! Anyway without further ado, here are the pictures:

The crowded bookstore

The cafe

The following day, March 4, my friend Joyce and I went to the Super Sale Bazaar at the World Trade Center.

I didn't buy much (need to save moneeeey!), but somehow I was able to satisfy my cravings for Peter Pan collars~ Here's what I got:
Peter Pan collared sheer top from MapleBerry Boutique, detachable collar from  Miss Sartorial,
Le Petit Prince notebook from... (I forgot the shop's name... sorry ;;)

And then I had ice cream goodness yet again  Or rather, I had gelato goodness! What's the difference? Well I read somewhere that gelato is basically ice cream with less fat, no air, and a richer, creamier taste. I wouldn't dispute that. I loved Mio Gelati's Dark Chocolate gelato. ♥

And before I end this senseless post, I also want to proclaim that at long last, I've finally found a hard copy of Stephen Chbosky's "The Perks of Being a Wallflower"! I was able to download an e-book in PDF form but I'm really not a fan of e-books. I want a book that I can touch, smell, and physically own (lol I know I sound weird now.) Anyway, I'm really glad I found this at Fully Booked, SM Mall of Asia. I am in love with this book as it reminds me a bit of J.D. Salinger's "The Catcher in the Rye." I might be posting a review of sorts after I've read and re-read this book. Might. :P
